Fun Mail Today ~

Look at what fun things I got in the mail today. It's my order of silk threads from Dinky Dyes. They are Hand-dyed Australian Silk threads.  I love stitching with silks and now I have them on hand to begin designing with. 

 

 And I also got the new release threads from Crescent Colours. Both the cottons -

 and the Belle Soie Silks. Oh My Gosh! They are beautiful, not just the colors but they feel so nice. Have I mentioned that I love stitching with silk thread. I am sure you will be seeing these real soon!



Flower Pot Sampler ~

Here it is. My newest cross stitch chart is ready to be released. It should be available to order next week. This was a fun one to stitch. It uses just one color of overdyed floss from Crescent Colours and is stitched on a fun vintage linen from Zweigart, available from Norden Crafts.

Coming Soon ~

I just took a little picture to show you what I've been working on. This new design should be ready to release in a couple of weeks. I love the stitching with all one color of overdyed floss. Watch for the full photo and release date coming soon.

Busy Week ~

This has been a busy From the Heart week. I shipped off a huge box of charts to Hoffman Distributing and am looking forward to three new charts being on their new book list today.  I'll put up a link later so you can check it out.
Then I have been busy framing and photographing my next two releases.  And because I am so pleased with how they turned out, here are pictures.  Be sure and ask for them at your favorite needlework store.

Another Peek ~

I am just back from the post office and mailing off new charts to my distributor and suppliers. So to celebrate I am sharing another new chart. This chart has two cross stitch designs and a punch needle project.It includes a sampler and a fun flagchart that I have finished as a pillow. It would look great in the back of a patriotic display or framed too. Watch for another peek tomorrow.

 

New Release ~

Although spring hasn't quite arrived in SE Idaho yet, I hear from some of my sources that parts of the country do indeed have spring, so on that bit of information that I am releasing my Spring Needlebook and Fob this week. It should be available within a week or two. It is another fun and simple project that I hope you will enjoy. Any of the three motifs on the outside of the needlebook would make a great scissor fob.

Almost there ~

I shipped a box of new charts to Hoffman Distributing today. They should be on the new book list next week.  They are carrying the newest charts that are pictured in the side column.

New Charts! ~

I just finished up the charts and photo shoot for my two newest designs, and I couldn't wait to post the pictures. This first one is Wedding Roses, and then Flower Basket Sampler.

The charts are back from the printers and they look great too. Now I'm off to pick up photos and get sample charts in the mail to my distributor and suppliers.

Busy Day ~

Today was such a fun day. I took a day off from everything. I didn't do any housework or cooking, and I just spent the day at the computer getting charts ready for the printer. Luckily there were good leftovers so when it was dinnertime I had that covered. I also did some finish work on a needlebook and scissor fob. So cute! Can't wait to get photos taken and get the charts sent off. Tomorrow will be a running errands day and maybe I'll treat myself to lunch out after such a productive day today. What a fun job I have!

Sneek Peaks ~

Here are a few sneak peeks of new charts I have been working on. I just got my new graphing program in the mail today, so now I just need to do a little work on publisher to get them ready for the printers. Then there is finishing work at the sewing machine on a couple of them and then ready for photos. Let me know what you think.

 

Getting Started ~

This has been so much fun to get my cross stitch design business started again. I have been in contact with suppliers and distributors and working on fun new designs. I have been organizing threads and fabrics. And there are still so many things to do. I need to contact printers and get pricing for charts. I have new computer software coming so I can get ideas from my head to paper much faster and easier, and of course the stitching. So many cute things are coming soon.
